Log it the moment it happens.

A mobile web app that opens on any smartphone. No download required.

When something happens on the water — a good start, a bad tack, a sail change that felt quick — you log it immediately. A timestamped comment. A race start or finish. A highlighted segment. These markers travel with the data into Analytics automatically when you upload, so the debrief starts with context already in place.

The app works offline. If you're out of range on the race course, everything you log is queued locally and syncs the moment you're back in signal. Nothing is lost.

Race and lineup timing

Mark the start and end of races, lineups, and other segments precisely as they happen — port/starboard, upwind/downwind. Populates event timing in Analytics on upload.

Timestamped comments

Log notes against the current time. Jump to these moments in Analytics and Player later.

Sail change logging

Record sail changes as they happen. Appears in Analytics alongside performance data.

Works offline

Everything logs locally and syncs automatically when you're back in range.

Watch your boat perform. In real time, from the chase boat.

Stream boatspeed, wind data, and any other logged metric live to any number of phones or tablets — while the boat is still racing.

When your yacht has connectivity — 4G, 5G, or Starlink — your instrument system streams performance data to Njord's servers with minimal latency. From there it's available instantly on any device with your Njord login: the coach's tablet on the chase boat, the team base, wherever. No dedicated display hardware, no proprietary receivers.

Any metric, live

Wind direction and speed, boatspeed, heel, VMG, foil and rig data — streamed with low latency. Number readouts and live charts update continuously.

Any number of viewers

No limit on how many devices connect simultaneously — coaching staff, shore team, team base.

No extra hardware

Works with your existing instrument setup and boat connectivity. Configure once — point your instrument software at Njord's IP and port — and it runs.

What you need

An instrument system capable of streaming data via UDP — Expedition is the most common setup, but NMEA 0183 streaming and custom integrations are also supported. 4G, 5G, or Starlink connectivity on the yacht. A one-time configuration in your instrument software.
